The Lunneburg County SPCA: Adopting an Animal

	This is The Shadow. He is a handsome young adult male. His coat is very glossy and smooth. He is a bit reserved and elusive until he gets acquainted, then he becomes talkative and affectionate although he doesn't enjoy being picked up. He is very playful and a bit too rough for young children. The Shadow is the perfect cat for the dedicated cat enthusiast.
Featured below is Annabelle. She is a female about 9-10 months old. She is already spayed. She is very playful and affectionate and would be a wonderful pet for a family with older children.

Below: These four kittens are about eleven weeks old, very friendly and dog experienced. They recently had an upper respiratory infection and just finished a course of antibiotics. They got their first vaccinations and are Feline Leukemia negative. Two are female and two are male.

	ADOPTED Owen is only 10 weeks old . He was limping from a bite wound on the leg when he came to us, but it's all better now. He is an all white, short hair male, very playful and cuddly.
Miss Muffet is a young female cat. She is a gorgeous smokey grey colour, short hair. She has fine bone structure like a Siamese. She is an independant girl that likes to be petted on her terms. She will make a wonderful companion for someone who doesn't require a cuddler, but will probably become more affectionate as she settles in to a new home.
	ADOPTED Benny will now permanently remain in the care of his foster family. He has adapted well and given his age, it was decided to keep him in care permanently. Enjoy your retirement home Benny!
ADOPTED Lucky (below) is an adult male cat, neutered, probably 6 or 7 years old. He was pretty skinny when we got him , but he's starting to fill out. He is nice and friendly with people. He makes himself right at home as you can probably tell from these pictures!

ADOPTED Bruce is a very handsome adult male, orange tabby. Bruce is tailless. He lost his tail due to an injury. He is a loving fellow who purrs appreciatively when he is petted. Gets along with kids, dogs and other cats. He will make a wonderful family pet.

ADOPTED On the left is Jet. He is a cute male with very long white whiskers and a white mustache. He has an in between length coat. ADOPTED On the right is Onyx - a very pretty, longhaired kitten. She is more timid than Jet but very friendly. Jet and his sister Onyx have been adopted!

ALL ADOPTED These Three Little Kittens and their mother were tossed out of a car window when the kittens were just 12 weeks old. There is an an all black female with a small white patch (right); an all black, short hair male (below, left); and a black female with unusual long white hairs in her coat (below, right). All have been feline leukemia tested and vaccinated and ready to go.

Riley [ADOPTED] is a male about 2 years old, a medium hair cat, light tan in color. He is an amazingly well behaved cat, doesn't hiss or growl - great around other animals and is non-confrontational. He is good around small children as well! He loves to have his ears scratchedand is quite talkative when someone is giving him attention.
Dot ADOPTED is a young adult female, already spayed. She is a sweet, gentle little cat and still quite playful. When Dot , two other adult cats and two litters of kittens were dumped out of a car on a secluded rural road, Dot cared for both litters of kittens until they were old enough to be weaned and go into foster homes.
